From Atlanta to the top of mountains in Colorado, barges in the canals of Amsterdam all the way to the Flamingo in Las Vegas the Kings have made special events magic. We make the celebration special by bringing joy to the music we play. When we play corporate events we can also serve as the "back up" band for other national acts and have done so for the Coasters, Drifters, Platters, Bo Diddly, and many many more. For special events we play a huge variety of music to try and get everyone involved in the fun. Glenn Miller to Stevie Ray Vaughn, its all part of the party. In this section you will find a song list of the kinds of songs the Kings bring to the festivities. You will also find some of the thank you letters and letters of recommendation we have received from friends. If you are interested, just send us an e-mail.

Chris Daniels
"It is a magic thing to do, to be there to make somebody's party the best. We love it. Years later people will forget the food and the flowers, but they will always remember and love a great band. We make the celebration special because we always have fun when we play -- and that fun is really infectious. When we play at weddings and parties we tend to play a huge variety of music to try and get everyone involved in the fun. Glenn Miller to Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Bostones to Surf song dances, fun is the heart and soul of the party. In this section you will find a song list of the kinds of songs the Kings bring to the festivities. You will also find just a few of the hundreds of the thank you letters and letters of recommendation we have received."

Dressing Rooms 'n stuff
A dressing room. We don't care what kind, just some place to get naked and have a beer. It has to be able to hold seven guys. We really need one of these for the costume change. Otherwise, Chris will do it on stage, and that is a really ugly sight. You just don't want that to happen. So please find us a room.

Beer, whatever is easy and fun for the promoter. If the festival is sponsored by XYZ beer, give us XYZ beer. The boys like the stuff in any and all forms. No hard liquor. We are stupid enough as it is.

Munchies: for before and after the gig. Like chips, sandwich making stuff, cookies, candy what ever, we even eat brown M&Ms. Stuff to munch on that makes sense for musicians. No need to go organic, but please, make sure the food is fresh, thank you.

Soda, juice and water. Whatever is available of all three. Please make it bottled water, diet and regular sodas, and whatever juice is easy, orange and apple, etc.,Thanks!

Hot Meal, either before or after the gig. We love sampling local food. It can be at your club or you can send us to the restaurant down the street where your friend makes a great meal and gives you a great deal. There are seven musicians and usually one press, promo, or manager type hanging around. So, Please plan for feeding eight people. Thanks again.

Four Double Rooms. If the club (Festival) is providing rooms, we need 4 "double" rooms. In the USA that means four rooms with two queen size beds in each. In Europe, that usually means four rooms with two tiny single beds in each. We are OK with either. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ROOMS WHICH CONTAIN ONLY ONE BED OR ROLL-OUT BEDS! These are grown men and they like each other a lot, but not that much. So, please get this right. Thank you very much.

The Kings are a funny band, a very friendly crew. If somebody in our crew is being a jerk, we usually know it and try and take care of it. But don't be afraid to tell us if we are screwing up. We try to always be courteous and have a whole hell of a lot of fun.

Thanks for working with us. If you have any questions please call or E-mail. USA # 303-320-7599, E-Mail cwd444@aol.com

Stage Plot and Monitor Mix Requirements

Basic Requirements: 4 separate monitor mixes

Best: 6 monitor mixes as shown on stage plot. Bass and percussion share a mix when we have percussion added.
Everybody just wants themselves in their monitor with the exception of the drummer. The drummer likes a little of Chris' voice in his mix and Chris guitars. Lead guitar position(when we can get it)likes a little keys and bass.

Inputs:
Five vocal mics(*including one horn vocal)
Two horn mics
Two guitar amp mics
One acoustic DI on Chris
One bass line (DI in his amp)
Two keyboard inputs (2 di's
Standard 4-piece drum kit

*Horn vocal is not shown on the stage plot but it should be set between the two horn mics.

**Ever now and then, we include a percussionist just to the right of the bass amp. He needs 2 mics and can share a mix with bass. Chris will give you a heads up if he's coming.
